Starting Q3!!

Hey all!  Well it kind of feels like the snow was part of the halftime show, doesn’t it? 1st semester down, ready for Q3. Teachers are IN IT. They are making sure your kids get what they need academically, emotionally, socially. Parents are IN IT! They are mid marathon and starting to look ahead (anyone else freak out about summer camp sign ups and the like?!?!?) Kids are IN IT! They have the hang of it. They are in some sort of groove and are getting ready for the meatiest part of the school year. 

Your PTSA, we are also IN IT! We are still working on supporting things through the winter, but we are also looking ahead to warmer weather, spring, and believe it or not, next year!

A few things coming up for discussion:

• How can the PTSA collaborate with Athletic Boosters and other school groups (ie SIT) to make things more accessible and community driven?

• How can the PTSA make supporting teachers easier and more equitable? We are looking at how the PTSA awards grants to teachers to see if there is a better way to do things.
