Culbreth Spirit Night next Tuesday April 21 at Autostrada! 200 N Greensboro St, Carrboro

Upcoming Garden Workday

Emily McMahon and Allison Chiancone have been working with Mr. Giblin (6th grade Social Studies) to begin revitalizing the garden spaces and general campus beautification. We’re passionate about making the outdoor environment as vibrant as the classrooms!

We have scheduled a volunteer workday on April 26th from 1pm to 4pm. We’ll be focusing on moving the giant mulch pile out front to a few spaces around the school. Folks can come anytime during that window and help for as long as you like. The tasks will be shoveling mulch and woodchips and wheelbarrowing to various garden spots around campus. If you have questions or want to get involved in our campus garden improvements contact emilyb.mcmahon@gmail.com.

Cougar Parents-
The School Improvement Team is a great way to get involved at Culbreth. The School Improvement Team (SIT) is a school committee made up of school administrators, teachers, staff and parents/guardians who serve as an advisory body to the principal in developing, reviewing, and implementing the School Improvement Plan (SIP). SIT meets monthly and representatives serve a 2-year term. Applications will be accepted until the deadline of Friday, April 17th. Paper ballots must be postmarked by April 17th. We are seeking 2 parent representatives to apply to fill our open slots for next year. Please consider applying and supporting your school in this important way. Additional information and the application is below. Applications can be emailed to LHorrigan@alumni.nd.edu or printed and returned to the school office.
