Welcome to the 2026-27 school year Culbreth Parents and Guardians!
The PTSA has been working behind the scenes throughout the summer. Four important items for parents.
In order to make all the amazing things happen at Culbreth for our students and staff, we ask that you contribute to our fall fundraiser. Our goal is to raise $25,000 for the year. Please contribute at this link.
The Hospitality Team is starting a new initiative this year, Secret Pals! This is a program that Dr. Mureno really enjoyed at CHS and thought it would be a great fit for Culbreth. Parents sign up to be a secret pal to one or more teachers and staff members. More information and sign ups are here.
Ms. Mazva-Cohen runs an amazing program at our school called Cougar Cares, assisting students and their families in need. To sign up to be on the distribution list please reach out: smazva-cohen@chccs.k12.nc.us

On Thursday, the PTSA Hospitality Committee hosted an early bird dinner for our hard working teachers and staff prior to the Meet the Teacher night. Thank you to Jersey Mikes Carrboro for the generous discount! We also had a parent create 4 beautiful flower arrangements that 4 lucky staff members got to take home at the end of the dinner!

PTSA Volunteers for 2026-27
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for 26-27!! We need great parents like you to give just a bit of their time to make things like funds for teachers’ classrooms, grants for special events and programs, teacher hospitality, communications to parents, school spirit through dances and spirit wear and more happen!
