CMS Chili Cook-Off Rescheduled for Feb. 21!
The Chili Cookoff for Teachers and Staff has moved to Wednesday, February 21st. As of 2/6, we are still looking for 5 more chefs to bring their chili. We also still need a handful of other side items like drinks and chili toppings. Please bring your crockpot (labeled with your name) of chili or other side items to the teacher workroom on Wednesday, February 21st by 10am. We'll rinse your crockpot and place it on a cart in the main lobby at the end of the day for you to pick up. There will be a prize awarded to the winning chili! Join in the fun to show our teachers and staff some love.

Your Hospitality Committee wanted to bring some joy and warmth to our lovely Crossing Guard, Barbara. On Friday we presented her with some electric handwarmers and a Starbucks gift card.
Thanks to the CMS parents for their contributions to hospitality that make things like this happen!

Cougar Care Alert!
Good Afternoon Cougar Family -
I hope everyone is off to a good start this new year.
We have a few needs that have come up and I am hoping you may be able to help:
* Plastic water bottles with lids - nothing fancy - just so kids can refill and go. The ones you get for free at races, fairs and other community events are just fine - as long as they are clean and newish
* Backpacks - any clean and gently used would be greatly appreciated. We have had a big influx of students these past weeks and would like to have a few bags available for those without
* LADIES sweatpants and leggings in Med, Large, and XL - Middle school bodies are all shapes and sizes and we are out of clean bottoms in these sizes.
Please deliver any donations to the front office with Mr Htoo and to my attention.
